New tools for stroke prevention and recovery now available
In a world-breakthrough, Stroke Education Ltd has developed new tools to aid stroke prevention and recovery.
A new series of video's in DVD format is now available. For the first time learning and instruction on stroke caring and rehabilitation is available in visual form that makes it so much easier for stroke survivors and their family caregivers. Developed by stroke authorities no medical or special medical training is needed to use the DVDs.
The three DVDs show exactly how to manage everyday needs and provide practical demonstrations or exercises and other techniques to improve the quality of life of stroke survivors and their family caregivers.
Developed and created in New Zealand, the DVDs have a total duration of six hours with easy-to-navigate topic and chapter selection options. They cover virtually all aspects of stroke from understanding what stroke is and how to avoid it, to the consequences of stroke.

In 2005 the concept of these unique DVDs has been awarded the SPARK Entrepreneurship Challenge $10K Competition Award.
